Album Review in Blast Magazine
Blast Magazine describes I Can’t Go On, I’ll Go On, “Like The Bloodsugars themselves, it’s sweetness with just the right amount of spice.” The mag gave the album a 3/4 rating, which is not too bad considering writer Elizabeth Raftery gives positive explanations as to why the band is “not your typical Brooklyn indie Band.” Knowing how to have fun and music that – from her personal experience- even parents might like. The article is pleasantly honest. Raftery writes, “Rather than co-opting and trying to re-fashion influences from past decades, The Bloodsugars proudly wear their musical inspirations on their sleeves.”
